Dr. Madeline Johnston

With over two decades of experience, Dr. Madeline Johnston has provided thoughtful, personalized chiropractic care since August 2000, when she opened her practice in Addison, Texas at just 25 years old.

Her path into chiropractic care was a natural extension of who she has always been.

From an early age, Dr. Madeline was drawn to helping others. As a child, she found joy in relieving discomfort for her parents by rubbing their backs—an instinct that continues to shape the care she provides today. Although she initially pursued dentistry and worked as a dental assistant, her direction changed after being introduced to chiropractic care, where she discovered a more holistic, hands-on approach that aligned with her values.

Raised in a small town as one of six children, she developed a deep appreciation for family, hard work, and a hands-on way of living. She grew up in a home that valued the arts—music, creativity, and a love for Broadway theater—while also embracing a practical, grounded lifestyle. Whether enjoying the arts or working on home projects and caring for animals, she learned to appreciate both refinement and resilience—qualities that continue to shape her approach today.

Dr. Madeline has built her practice on a simple philosophy: care should be personal, attentive, and centered on the individual. She is known for taking time with her patients, understanding their needs, and providing care that supports both immediate relief and long-term wellness.

Outside the office, her life reflects the same sense of intention and connection. She is a devoted wife and mother of three children, with four stepchildren, and values the importance of a strong, healthy family. With two children in college and one still in high school, she understands the evolving needs of families in every stage of life.

Her home is centered around connection and gathering. She loves cooking, preparing meals, and hosting, creating space for meaningful time together. She believes some of life’s best moments happen around the table—a philosophy that mirrors the welcoming, comfortable experience she strives to create for her patients.

She and her husband enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle, including skiing, hiking, boating and traveling. At home, she enjoys cooking, working in the yard, caring for animals, and spending time outdoors, with her dogs, cats and ponies.

After more than 25 years in practice, her passion remains unchanged. She considers it a privilege to care for her patients and is committed to helping individuals and families in the Addison community feel their best, move well, and live fully.
